About EFILE
EFILE allows you to file personal income tax and benefit return directly to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) using the Internet. EFILE is an easy-to-use, convenient option for filing personal tax return. It streamlines the tax-filing process and offers the following benefits:

  • secure and confidential;
  • faster refunds (in as little as eight business days);
  • greater accuracy (with the use of software, CRA don't re-key the information, and there is less chance of errors);
  • no paper return to mail;
  • no receipts to send in, unless CRA ask for them at a later date; and
  • immediate confirmation that CRA have received tax return.

FutureTax, started from tax year 2007, has been certified for NETFILE by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for tax years 2007 to 2024.

Limitations:

FutureTax does not support Quebec provincial(TP-1) tax returns. It supports the Federal tax return for Quebec only.

FutureTax does not support emigrant, non-residents and deemed residents tax return.

FutureTax does not support Multiple Jurisdictions(T2203) tax returns.

FutureTax does not support Electronic transmission of Form T1134.
