Path A Step 11: Ready to File T2(.COR)

Previous step: Path A Step 10: Web Access Code (WAC) or EFILE Number and Password

After verifying your return, you are ready to submit your return. Click Ready to File T2(.COR) to begin.

You will be prompted to complete the verification process first, even if you have already completed it before.

Then, you will save the .cor file.

By default, all versions of FutureTax save files under the same base folder in the Documents folder (replace <YourUsername> with your Windows username):

C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Documents\FutureTax

Each version then stores its files in a subfolder named after that version:

C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Documents\FutureTax\T2 2025.2

After saving the .cor file, you will be asked to agree to the terms and conditions of the CRA’s Corporation Internet Filing online transmission. To proceed, check the checkbox labelled I agree with the Terms and Conditions. Then, click OK.

Afterwards, a window will appear showing whether your submission was successful.

Successful Submission

Unsuccessful Submission

If your submission is unsuccessful, correct the error and try again. You may find the error in Common Filing Errors.

Note: Any error that you see in Step 3 of 3 - Results of Submission are generated by the CRA’s servers, the software just displays it.

If your submission is successful, your filing is complete.
